Our Story.

"It Was All A Dream" was born from a simple belief:

Created in honor of National Black Business Month, the It Was All A Dream Festival celebrates entrepreneurship, creativity, and community by creating opportunities for Black-owned businesses to grow, connect and thrive.

Every August, we bring entrepreneurs, creators, artists, organizations, and neighbors together to celebrate culture, strengthen local economies and build meaningful relationships through commerce, collaboration, and shared experiences.

What began as a dream continues to grow into a movement in communities across the country —creating opportunities that inspire people to believe in their ideas, support one another and build something greater together.

Every dream deserves an opportunity.

One Last Thing…

If you've made it this far…

You already know we believe every dream deserves an opportunity.

Here's one more piece of our story…

"It Was All A Dream" pays homage to The Notorious B.I.G.'s iconic song Juicy — a reminder that many of the greatest success stories begin with someone willing to believe in what seemed impossible.

We couldn't imagine a better reminder that every dream is worth pursuing.
